Important Information for Traveling with your Dog(s) to Nashville, TN

Nashville is considered an incredibly dog friendly city. In addition to our many dog-friendly parks, there are a variety of shops, restaurants and activities that welcome your fur babies. There are, however some things to be aware of when traveling to Nashville with Fido. 

Leash Law: 

There is a leash law in Davidson County which states that your dog must be on a leash when not fenced in on the property or at a leash free dog park. The exception to this is if your dog is engaged in legal hunting or herding. View the full laws here. 

Emergency Vet Information: 

While we certainly hope you do not need it but in the event that you do, we suggest: 

• Nashville Veterinary Specialists + Animal Emergency on Sidco Drive in Nashville. They are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and have the ability to do everything for even specialized cases. This is about a 5-10 minute drive from our studio, Lonestar and about a 15-20 minute drive from The Country Cottage or the Little House. In potential life threatening situations, this is where we would recommend and be sure to call ahead. 
•  Blue Pearl Pet Hospital on 12th Avenue South in Nashville. They are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is about a 5-10 minute drive from our studio, Lonestar and about a 15-20 minute drive from The Country Cottage or the Little House. This is where we recommend for minor emergencies.
