Nashville is for Lovers: February Happenings

Nashville is for lovers, especially in the month of February. We consider Music City the perfect destination if you’re in the market for a date night or special occasion during the month of heart shaped eyes and chocolate kisses. If you aren’t from the city, it can be difficult finding the right events to go to, to know the must-see artists in town and to get the best bang for your buck. But worry not, we’ve made a list of amazing opportunities to make the best of your time in Nashville in February.

If soul and delicious guitar solos are your thing – head over to The Ryman Auditorium on Feb 1st. Tedeschi Trucks Band goes on at 8PM and are sure to make your ears melt (in a good way). The Ryman is a historical landmark and one of the most beautiful buildings in town, it will not disappoint.

If your idea of a romantic evening involves rinkside tickets to a Hockey game, then this Valentines Day you are in luck. The Predators are playing the Canadians on February 14th, and we hear through the grapevine that the “Kiss Cam” might make an appearance.

While you are in the city of songwriters, make sure you get to a show at The Listening Room. TLR is known to host some of our most popular up and coming young artists who have moved here from all over the world to pursue this crazy dream. They’re open every night of the week and always feature amazing local talent. You could end up meeting the next big Nashville Star, so buy a cd and remember to get an autograph.

Finish off your month with a “Pasta & Wine Pairing Class” hosted by City Winery on Feb 28th. Tickets are $25 and that includes an hour of tasting wine and eating pasta, is there a better way to spend a Thursday night? We think not.
