Nashville in April

Nashville is going to be packing a serious punch in the month of April and if you’re in town, you can join in on these incredible festivities. Country music is the furthest thing from mind this month as we celebrate the first NFL Draft in Music City, we enter Nashville Fashion Week, encourage participation in the Rock ‘N Roll Marathon and drop in on the Cherry Blossom Festival (Yes, you heard us right! Cherry Blossoms!). Let’s take a deeper look into the events Nashville has to offer you in April!

Start your trip off in style by attending Nashville Fashion Week. If you’re in the mood to see some glamour and runway attire, look no further than OZ Arts Nashville. There will be 4 different opportunities to catch a real fashion show every night starting April 2nd. One of our favorite designers, Eric Adler, will be at an exclusive Men’s fashion event at the Dream Nashville Hotel – where they’re giving away gift cards, hot shaves and delicious bites while being serenaded by local soul artist, Bentley Caldwell. Check out the Nashville Fashion Week website for more fun events that are sure to fit into even the busiest of schedules.

On April 13th, Nashville is celebrating its 11th Annual Cherry Blossom Festival. If you are bringing the family along on your trip – this is the perfect festivity that will captivate everyone. It’s a FREE event in Nashville’s Public Square (Downtown Nashville) that hosts a Cherry Blossom Walk, Sumo-Suit Wrestling and (if you’re in the market for a puppy) an ‘Pups in Pink’ adoption parade!

It’s no secret that the NFL has chosen Nashville as its hub for this years NFL Draft. Music City has never been more ready for the football fan crowd that this type of event usually brings. Just a heads up, the draft event is FREE, is being held on April 25-27 and has plenty of exciting events to choose from. The Red Carpet Event will be at The Green at Riverfront Park on the first day, after that there will be musical performances from a few mystery Nashville writers, an autograph stage, an NFL pop-up shop, Taste of Tailgate and even Selection Square at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. This event will be fun for Football fans and tag-alongs alike.  Download their app for the full details.

To cap off April, help raise money and awareness for St. Jude Cancer Research by registering to run in the Rock N’ Roll Marathon! The race is happening April 27-28 and is the perfect event for anyone and everyone. You don’t need to be a runner, you don’t even need to be athletic, this event is one that contributes to the greater good – where walking is perfectly acceptable, and they’re just thankful that you’re participating.
